Our story
Yatra means journey
We named it after the only part of clothing that actually matters — how long it stays with you.
Yatra started because most streetwear is a logo printed on the cheapest blank a supplier will sell, priced like it is not.
The first run was a box of tees, sold mostly to people we knew. They came back for the second one, which told us the fabric call was right — heavy, washed, cut wide, and left plain at the front.
The rule has not changed since. Pick the heaviest cloth the price can carry, cut it for how people actually wear things now, and put the artwork across the back where it reads. A compass over a ridge line, because the whole point of a journey is that you are still on it.

How a piece gets made
The cloth decides
Before a single graphic, we settle the fabric — 240 GSM on the tees, 450 on the fleece, 13 oz denim. A great print on a thin blank is still a thin blank, and you find that out on the third wash.
Worn for a month
Every piece is made once and worn hard before it is approved. Collars that curl, prints that crack, denim that bags at the knee — they fail here, not on you.
Art on the back
Nobody sees your chest across a room. The front stays quiet — a small mark, or nothing at all — and the work goes where it actually reads.
Small batches
A handful of pieces a drop. It means sizes sell out. It also means we never need a permanent sale to clear colours nobody asked for.

The mark
A compass over a ridge
The ridge is the part of the journey you can see. The compass is the part you bring with you. The bird is there because someone has to get above it to know which way to go.
It runs across the back of every piece in the drop, at the size it deserves — and it is the same artwork printed on the cloth, not a redraw of it.
